Liverpool have suffered another setback in the English Premier League. The team of team manager Jürgen Klopp surprisingly lost 0-1 (0-0) at bottom Nottingham Forest, most recently the Reds had returned to the road to success with victories over Manchester City (1-0) and West Ham United (1-0). The goal of the day for the outsider was scored by ex-Liverpool player and former Bundesliga professional Taiwo Awoniyi (55th) after a free kick from half field.

“It’s a heavy blow for us,” Klopp commented on the defeat. “We came here to get three points. When you look at the game you think, ‘How could that not have happened?'” continued Klopp. Liverpool, who have had a poor start to the season, are further behind the international ranks on just 16 points in the table. Nottingham overtook Leicester City and initially left last place.

Everton were able to distance themselves from the relegation zone by beating Crystal Palace 3-0 (1-0). Dominic Calvert-Lewin (11′), Anthony Gordon (65′) and Dwight McNeil (85′) scored for team manager Frank Lampard’s side to victory.
