EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Kristine Anigwe scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Asha Thomas made five 3-pointers and scored 15 points to lead California past Oregon 55-49 on Friday night.
Sierra Campisano’s layup tied the game at 49 with 3:36 left, but the Ducks wouldn’t score again and missed their last seven shots. Anigwe made a jumper and 1 of 2 free throws and Mi’Cole Cayton made two fouls shots to end the game.
The two teams each scored just six points in the second quarter as Cal shot 2 for 8 and Oregon went 3 for 13.
Cal (18-11, 6-11 Pac-12) finished the game shooting 18 for 48 (38 percent) and the Ducks were 20 for 54 (37). The Bears had a 40-26 rebounding advantage.
Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard each scored 11 points for Oregon (18-11, 8-9).
