Leave the bar in a golf cart taxi, bop the driver on the head when asked to pay, steal the golf cart, crash it a few blocks later, get arrested.
That was the eventful, allegedly drunken Friday night for Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman David Parry, according to police in Scottsdale, Ariz., via the Indianapolis Star.
The 24-year-old was arrested following the caper around 2:30 a.m. Saturday on suspicion of robbery, auto theft, criminal damage, resisting arrest and driving under the influence, according to police.
Cops caught up with Parry on the sidewalk after he had steered the “transportation cart” — a street-legal golf cart used as a taxi — into a gate.
Parry, a defensive tackle, has started every game in his first two seasons, recording 49 tackles and four sacks. “We are aware of the reports and are gathering more information,” the Colts said Monday night.
