Amile Jefferson, playing in his final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium, added 14 points and 11 rebounds while Luke Kennard had 17 points for the Blue Devils (23-7, 11-6 ACC).

Jayson Tatum added 15 points for Duke, which held FSU 14 points below its scoring average to snap a two-game losing streak that cost the Blue Devils a top-10 ranking.

Dwayne Bacon scored 19 and Xavier Rathan-Mayes had 15 for the Seminoles (23-7, 11-6), who had a two-game winning streak snapped.

Duke’s Grayson Allen and Rathan-Mayes got tangled for the second straight year. As Rathan-Mayes went up court, Allen appeared to trip over his right leg. No foul was called.

FSU fell to 3-6 in league road games, trailing all but one of them at halftime and falling behind by at least 15 points in each of the six defeats. The Seminoles won’t break the program record of 12 ACC victories — the best they can do is tie it when they conclude the regular season Saturday at home against No. 25 Miami.

Duke wraps up the regular season at No. 5 North Carolina on Saturday night.

WASHINGTON: Markelle Fultz, the leading scorer in the Pac-12, has not been cleared by team doctors to play due to a sore knee and may miss the final two regular-season games.

ALL-ACC TEAM: FSU and Notre Dame each placed two players on the 10-player All-ACC first team in a vote of school representatives and media members. The Seminoles placed forward Shakayla Thomas and guard Leticia Romero on the team; Notre Dame’s representatives were forward Brianna Turner and guard Lindsay Allen. Also on the first team were Duke’s Lexie Brown and Rebecca Greenwell, Louisville’s Asia Durr and Myisha Hines-Allen and the league’s top two scorers, Alexis Peterson and Brittney Sykes, both of Syracuse.

FOOTBALL: Baylor safety Travon Blanchard was suspended after the school was notified that a protective order had been issued against him. The athletic department said in a statement it was aware of the complaint made by a woman against Blanchard through the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office. Baylor said it was notified on Feb. 7 and appropriate campus student-conduct process was initiated. Baylor is facing at least six federal and state lawsuits as well as a federal civil rights investigation into claims the school and football program ignored, mishandled or tried to cover up reports of sexual or physical abuse and other criminal misdeeds across campus for years under former coach Art Briles and former school president Kenneth Starr.
