Belgium kick off their bidding for Euro 2020 glory tonight with all the Red Devils facing Russia in St Petersburg.
Roberto Martinez’s side are now ranked No1 in the FIFA world rankings, but that means they could no more be considered dark horses to eventually land an international trophy – and they’ll rightly be considered among the favorites in the Euros summer time.
As for Russia, they head into this game as the underdogs, but will probably be determined to not lose on home soil – and their remarkable World Cup quarter-final run back in 2018 proves they should not be underestimated in St Petersburg.
