At OM, he managed the reserve, was assistant to the head coach and managed the A team from 1994 to 1995. He was Raymond Goethals’ assistant during the Champions League final won by the ‘OM in 1993. He also managed the training center of the Marseille club from 2010 to 2013, then that of Montpellier for five years.
He was also the coach of several African teams (Mali, Togo, Guinea) and coached several clubs in France (Istres, Sedan) and abroad (Sion, Las Palmas, African Club, Raja Casablanca, etc.). His son Benjamin, a professional footballer, currently plays for Adana Demirspor, in Turkey, after having worn the jerseys of Montpellier, Tottenham or Paris SG.
