If Paul manages to win the fight, his heritage might be rewritten as the first ever person to defeat the boxing superstar. The controversial YouTuber will have plenty of fans hoping he does exactly that, although none of his 23 million followers will actually be able to watch the fight at no cost on the favorite video-sharing platform.
Instead, the 6 June bout (8pm-10pm ET) will be broadcast as a pay-per-view (PPV) contest on Fanmio, for the price of $49.99. People in the UK can view it on Sky Sports Box Office for #16.95, with coverage starting at 11.55pm.
The cost will likely lead fight fans to find a free live stream which permit them to watch the competition online without paying.
The streams may be illegal but a lack of police interference with people watching them has led to what some experts have called the”golden era” of piracy.
