After ET expires, NFL teams won’t be allowed to trade. Teams looking to add or subtract from their teams will try to reach an agreement before the time runs out.

The deadline has not been met in years past. We’ve seen some big trades this year. Zach Ertz was traded to the Cardinals in exchange for a rookie cornerback, and a fifth-round draft pick in October. A day later, the Broncos and Rams reached a deal to trade Von Miller, an experienced Denver pass rusher, to Los Angeles.

On Tuesday, will we see another major name move? Although it is unlikely, there are still many playmakers whose names are in the headlines.

Over the past few weeks, Deshaun Watson, the Texans’ quarterback has been frequently mentioned. Potential skill position players such as Allen Robinson (Bears), Marlon Mak (Colts), Odell Brookham Jr. (Browns), Brandin Cooks and Odell Beckham Jr.(Texans) might also be attractive to teams.

Important to remember that two playoff games in each conference could impact the deadline. Assume that there are more playoff contenders than usual, and they might be willing to open their doors. This was true in 2020, however, major trades were halted by a salary cap crunch due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, this year the restrictions are less so buyers who are willing to be aggressive may be able get star power to help their businesses improve.

These are the most recent news about possible trade targets and all trades that were completed before the 2021 NFL trade deadline.
