Cameroon’s 6-foot-8 forward Tchamwa Tchatchoua was hurt while he was moving down the court following a missed shot from the Bears. With just 12 minutes remaining in the first half, his left leg became awkwardly bent and he fell to the ground near midcourt. He is now out indefinitely.

AUBURN (Ala.) — Walker Kessler scored a triple-double, scoring 12 blocks, 12 points, and 11 rebounds to become No. 1 Auburn recovered from a loss.

The North Carolina transfer, who stands at 7 feet 1, is the fifth Southeastern Conference player to have multiple career double-doubles. He also happens to be the only one in the country this season with two.

Kessler snubbed four of the Aggies first seven shots, and Auburn got its third triple-double and second of the season.

Arkansas broke the 19-game winning streak of the Tigers (22-3, 11-1 SEC), earlier in this week.

The Aggies (14-10, 4-8), lost their eighth consecutive game and had one their worst offensive performances.

Allen Flanigan scored 16 for Auburn. Texas A&M’s Henry Coleman III scored 10 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

SEATTLE (AP), — Bennedict Mathurin scored 25, while Azuolas Tubelis had 21 points and 10 rebounds to help Arizona win its sixth consecutive game.

The Wildcats (22-2; 12-1 Pac-12), erased a 14-point early deficit and dominated the final thirty minutes. Arizona scored 57%, with eight different players scoring. Dalen Terry scored 12 points. Oumar Ballo added 10 points.

Terrell Brown Jr. scored 29 points for the Huskies (13-10 and 8-5).

LEXINGTON (Ky.) — Oscar Tshiebwe had 27 points and 19 rebounds in his 18th national double-double and 11th consecutive win to lead Kentucky.

Six consecutive wins for the Wildcats (14-4, 10-2 Southeastern Conference), have been achieved.

Kellan Grady scored 15 points, and TyTy Washington had 10, before he left the game at 12:51 due to a lower left leg injury. He didn’t return.

Gators (16-9, 6-6), saw their four-game winning streak ended. Florida’s Colin Castelton was the star with 18 points.

HOUSTON (AP), Landers Nolley II scored twenty points, and Jalen Duren added 14 points and 11 boards as Memphis ended the Cougars’ 37 game home winning streak.

Houston lost its second consecutive game after a 12-game winning streak. The Cougars lost their second consecutive game since January 2017, when they lost three straight.

DeAndre Williams, Lester Quinones and Lester Quinones scored 13 points each as the Tigers won their fifth consecutive (14-8, 8-4 American).

Fabian White Jr., Taze Moore, and Jamal Shead had 15 points each for Houston (20-4 and 9-2).

BOSTON (AP), — Paolo Banchero scored 16 points and pulled BC away in the second half. This was their 19th win in 21 meetings.

Trevor Keels added 14 points, Wendell Moore Jr. had 13, Trevor Keels had 13 and Mark Williams had 10 each for the Blue Devils (21-4 and 11-3 Atlantic Coast Conference).

James Karnik, BC (9-14, 4-9), had 21 points and nine boards. DeMarr Langford had 16, while Langford had 16.

Duke took a lead of double digits in the second period and increased it to 51-36 with Moore’s 3-pointer in front his bench.

LAWRENCE (Kansas) — Jalen Wilson scored 22 points for Kansas as they used a late run in the final seconds to win.

The Jayhawks (22-4, 9-2 Big 12), scored 11 points in a 15-2 run to take the lead in final minutes.

Wilson’s free throw brought the Sooners to within 70-69. Oklahoma won the game with a jumper by Jordan Goldwire in the final seconds (14-11, 4-8).

Christian Braun scored 18 points for Kansas. Ochai Agbaji, David McCormack and Ochai Agbaji each contributed 11.

Tanner Groves had 19 points for the Sooners, while Goldwire had 20. Elijah Harless scored 12 points, and Jalen H had 10.

LUBBOCK (Texas) — Terrence Shannon scored twenty points on seven-of-9 shooting to help Texas Tech overcome a 13 point deficit and remain undefeated in fifteen home games.

Red Raiders (19-6-8-4) finished the first half on a 15-5 run. They then continued to score the first nine points of the second half.

Kevin McCullar hit a 3-pointer at 5:06 in the first period to kick off the decisive 24-5 run. His shot came just minutes after he had suffered a left ankle injury from stepping on Jamie Dixon, TCU coach. Tech led with a three-point play from Bryson Williams in just the first minute of the second period.

Williams scored 16 points for Texas Tech. Mike Miles missed the previous two games due to a wrist injury and had 16 points for Texas Tech (16-6, 5-5)

PROVIDENCE (RI) — Jared Bynum scored 26 from the bench, while Al Durham and Nate Watson each finished with 16 points as Providence won its eighth consecutive game.

Durham was 12 for 12, at the free-throw line to the Big East-leading Friars (21-1, 11-1 Big East), with the last four finishing within the final 10 seconds of the clock to secure victory.

David Jones, DePaul’s senior basketball player, finished the season with 19 points.

DePaul (12-11, 3-10), only scored one basket in the last 5:12 of second half. However, it was a timely one. Nick Ongenda made a game-tying jumper in 20.3 seconds to tie the game at 60 and force overtime.

MADISON (Wis.) — Ron Harper Jr. scored 21 point as Rutgers defeated a ranked opponent for the third consecutive game and fourth time this year, a school-record.

The Scarlet Knights (9-9, 9-5 Big Ten), knocked out then-No. 13 Michigan State 84-663 on Saturday, and No. 16 Ohio State 66-64-6 on Wednesday. This is the first time they have beaten a Top 25 opponent in three consecutive games in program history.

Paul Mulcahy, who made Rutgers the winner with 4:12 left, made Rutgers’ 3 pointer that launched an 11-0 spurt.

Tyler Wahl scored 23 points, a record for Wisconsin.

PHILADELPHIA, (AP) — Justin Moore scored 14 points in the second period as the Wildcats overcame a seven point deficit.

Jermaine Samuels scored 16 points, while Brandon Slater scored 10 points. Brandon Slater also had 10 points. Brandon Slater made the go ahead layup with just 1:26 remaining for the Wildcats (19-6; 12-3 Big East). Eric Dixon and Collin Gillespie each scored 10.

Seton Hall’s Tray Jackson and Kadary Richmond each scored 16 points for Seton Hall (15-8 and 6-7). Myles Cale had 11 points, while Alex Yetna had 15, for the Pirates.

ANN ARBOR (Mich.) — E. J. Liddell scored 26 points, and Cedric Russell added 12, as the Buckeyes bounced back from a Rutgers loss by two points.

Ohio State had lost four of its five previous road games (15-6, 8-4 Big Ten).

Eli Brooks scored 17 points, while Hunter Dickinson had 14, and Michigan won 7-6 (7-10, 7-6).

Halftime was 33-30 for the Buckeyes, but they pulled ahead in the second half.

Brooks became the 56th Michigan basketball player to reach 1,000 career points by scoring a layup during the second half.

Michigan State is currently one game behind No. 13 Illinois.

Trayce Jackson Davis scored 17 points, while Race Thompson and Tamar Baates had 13, respectively. The Hoosiers (16-8 and 7-7 Big Ten) have lost four of six of their last six games.

Michigan State used a scrappy defense to gain control in the second period. They also ran a 13-3 run after being behind 41-40. Indiana was able to get three points in the remaining game.

INDIANAPOLIS AP (AP) — Bryce Golden had a career high 22 points, and Bo Hodges added 11 rebounds and 11 points to help Butler win unexpectedly.

The Bulldogs (12-13, 5-9 Big East) won their third consecutive game without a loss and never looked back.

Justin Lewis was Marquette’s leading scorer with 27 points. He also had nine rebounds. Tyler Kolek scored 17 points for Marquette’s Golden Eagles (16-9-8-6) loss.

The Bulldogs quickly took advantage of this and made six of their eight first eight shots from behind the arc, jumping to a 26-11 lead. Butler extended the lead to 21 points with a 7-0 run, before the Golden Eagles began fighting back.

KNOXVILLE (Tenn.) — Zakai Zeigler scored 16 points for Tennessee.

Josiah Jordan James scored 14 points for Volunteers (18-6-9-3 Southeastern Conference), John Fulkerson had 12 and Santiago Vescovi 10.

Scotty Pippen Jr. led the Commodores (13-11 and 5-7). He scored 23 points. Myles Stute had 17 points, while Rodney Chatman had 11.

Before Vanderbilt made any moves, Tennessee raised its 12-point halftime score to 16.

Pippen scored six points in succession to reduce the lead to one at 11:34. Fulkerson made a three point play and the Commodores went over four minutes without scoring.

MOREHEAD (Ky.) — Tevin Brown scored the go-ahead layup in 16 seconds. KJ Williams made two free throws just 12 seconds later to make No. 23 Murray State won its 14th consecutive win.

The Racers (22-4, 14-0 Ohio Valley Conference), trailed 50-42 at 4:24. But they regained the lead with 53-50 with 1:01 remaining. Williams scored two baskets in less than one minute. Tray Hollowell’s 3 pointer with 36 seconds left tied it. Brown drove in for the winning basket, and Williams rebounded Ta’Lon Cooper’s miss layup with just four seconds remaining.

Williams was fouled, and he made both free throws. He then scored a steal to secure the road win. Williams made 8 of 14 shots for 21 points and 12 rebounds.

Johni Broome scored 14 points and had 12 rebounds for Morehead State (19-8-11-3) who ended its 20-game winning streak at home.
