FC Bayern would like to sign Sadio Mané, Liverpool FC is basically ready to give up the striker. The offer from Munich, however, only creates a tired smile at the Premier League club, as British media reports. This is about the conditions for bonus payments.

According to reports in the British media, Liverpool FC has also rejected a second offer from FC Bayern Munich for the Senegalese Sadio Mané. The German soccer record champion is said to have increased his first offer from 25 million to 30 million pounds including bonus payments, as reported by several newspapers. This corresponds to a little more than 35 million euros. This fee for the 30-year-old attacker should contain bonuses of up to 7.5 million euros.

The Premier League club from Liverpool, coached by Jürgen Klopp, still thinks the offer is too low and is particularly bothered by the fact that the conditions for the bonus payments offered are unrealistic, the media said. The newspaper “The Times” wrote that a prerequisite for the bonus payments is that FC Bayern wins the Champions League in the next three seasons, Mané is voted world footballer and wins the Ballon D’or. Liverpool classified these requirements as “laughable”, in English: ridiculous. The “Times” also reported that Liverpool only wanted to enter into negotiations with the Munich team if they bid for 42.5 million pounds (about 50 million euros). FC Bayern wants to offer Mané a three-year contract.

Mané’s move to Munich has been speculated for weeks. The African is being traded as a potential successor to Serge Gnabry, whose future in Munich remains uncertain. On the fringes of the Nations League games of the German national team, the attacker did not want to comment on his contract ending in 2023 and his plans for it. Mané could also replace goalgetter Robert Lewandowski, who is willing to change. The contract of the Polish world footballer also runs until 2023, but Lewandowski would rather leave Munich today than tomorrow.

Mané, whose contract with Liverpool runs until the summer of 2023, is currently qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations with the Senegal national team. With a converted penalty, Mané ensured the 1-0 win over Rwanda in added time on Tuesday (90.8 minutes).
