His opponent will be Novak Djokovic. The 36-year-old Serbian emerged 6-3, 5-7, 6-1, 6-1 in the clash against world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz. The young Spaniard, victim of cramps, could not resist the power and experience of his opponent.
In this duel, Novak Djokovic will try to win his third Roland-Garros after his successes in 2016 and 2021 in Paris. He would thus become the first tennis player in history to have won each Grand Slam at least three times (he is already the only one with Rafael Nadal to have won them at least twice). Above all, if successful, he would become, ahead of Nadal, the record holder for titles in these Majors, with 23 crowns.
