Sporting Kansas City is gearing up to face off against LAFC in the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. The game is set to kick off at 9:50 p.m. CT on Wednesday, with the winning team not only taking home the championship trophy but also a $300,000 grand prize. Additionally, the team’s name will be engraved on the Dewar Challenge Trophy, which is displayed at the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
For fans who can’t make it to the stadium, the U.S. Open Cup Final will be available for streaming for free via MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. Play-by-play voice Tyler Terens and analyst Devon Kerr will be providing commentary for the game, just as they did for Sporting Kansas City’s previous victories in the tournament.
