The London Underground stations of Oxford Circus and Bond Street, in the commercial heart of the city, have been evacuated and closed by police for almost two hours due to a so-called “incident” with gunfire. After off the area and deploying numerous agents, the police, who initially treated the event as terrorism, has found no suspects and no evidence of the shooting, as reported through social networks. The agents had asked the pedestrianss circulating on Oxford Street and Regent Street to Refugiasen in buildings and to remain inside until further notice. The metro stations have already reopened.
