The National Institute of Cybersecurity (Incibe) has identified a series of fraudulent emails that seek to impersonate iCloud identity and offer 50GB of additional storage.

These messages notify the recipient that they have exceeded their storage capacity in the iCloud cloud service and include a link that supposedly offers 50 GB of additional storage as part of a loyalty program, Incibe reported in a statement this Friday.

However, this link redirects to a form where they ask for personal and bank details with the intention of stealing this information.

From the Incibe they have pointed out that the sender of the emails does not correspond to any domain associated with iCloud, and seems to be randomly generated.

“If you have received the aforementioned email, but you have not provided any information, we recommend you mark it as ‘spam’ and delete it from your inbox,” the technology center has recommended.
