A man walking in a Petaluma crosswalk early Monday was hit by a vehicle and taken to a hospital, according to a city fire official.
The crash happened at 6 a.m. on Petaluma Boulevard South near G Street, said Petaluma fire Battalion Chief Jeff Holden.
The pedestrian, who reportedly was wearing dark clothing, was treated by paramedics and then taken by ambulance to Petaluma Valley Hospital.
Further details from Petaluma police weren’t available early Monday.
