Magdeburg (dpa/sa) – First fog, then sun: People in Saxony-Anhalt can look forward to a mostly sunny start to the week. Monday morning is initially determined by dense fields of fog, some of which ensure visibility below 150 meters, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in the morning. In the midday hours the fog gradually clears and the sun comes out. The maximum temperatures are between 8 and 12 degrees, in the Harz between 6 and 9 degrees.

Tuesday night will remain clear with scattered fog formation. According to the DWD, a weak southerly wind ensures low temperatures of up to 2 degrees. Tuesday also starts out cheerful. Towards the afternoon, clouds are expected to gather, especially in the western parts of the country. A maximum temperature of up to 15 degrees is expected.
