Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – According to a demand from Hesse, the fine procedure for traffic offenses should be faster and, above all, more effective. This was announced by the Ministry of Justice on Thursday in Wiesbaden. “We jointly call for a review of the practicability of existing regulations,” said Justice Minister Roman Poseck (CDU) in a statement.
Specifically, this is about fines if drivers drive too fast, keep too little distance or ignore a red traffic light. A proposed resolution presented at the Justice Ministers’ Conference in Berlin provides for a working group for this purpose. This is to develop proposals for possible changes in the law. Poseck explained that the initiative from Hesse was well received.
