Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – The murder of an 86-year-old pensioner in Flörsheim (Main-Taunus-Kreis) will be the subject of the ZDF manhunt program “Aktenzeichen XY… unsolved” on Wednesday (November 9). The Hessian State Criminal Police Office is still looking for the perpetrator and is asking for further information, the police said in Wiesbaden on Tuesday.

The 86-year-old, who lives alone, was attacked in his home on August 15, 2003. The man was then tied up with cable ties and stabbed with a kitchen knife. The victim died, among other things, due to blood loss.

According to the State Criminal Police Office, neither a motive nor a suspect has been found to date. 23,800 euros have been awarded for information on identifying the perpetrator or perpetrators.
