Munich (dpa / lby) – FC Bayern wants to end the Champions League group stage without a few football stars with a flawless record. Bayern are aiming for their sixth win in six games against Inter Milan on Tuesday (9:00 p.m.) in the Allianz Arena. “18 points in the group would be very, very strong,” said coach Julian Nagelsmann about the group with the Italians, FC Barcelona and Viktoria Pilsen.
Bayern have already been determined as group winners. Inter, second in the table, also have a place in the round of 16. The German record champions could play a perfect group stage for the third time in the premier class without losing a point.
Nagelsmann will rotate against the Milanese. In addition to goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and attacker Thomas Müller, other stars such as Leroy Sané and Lucas Hernández, for whom it would be too early to play after muscle injuries, will also be absent. Matthijs de Ligt will not play in defense against Inter because of a knee problem. “Everyone can see it, that’s a good feeling,” said Nagelsmann. Bayern won the first leg in Milan 2-0 against Inter.
