Viernheim (dpa / lhe) – An 18-year-old driver was seriously injured in an accident on Autobahn 6 near Viernheim (Bergstrasse district). A 55-year-old driver switched from the right to the left lane and overlooked the 18-year-old’s car, the police said early Monday morning. The young man could not avoid it and drove into the car. According to the information, the cars then hit the protective barrier several times. The 55-year-old was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and the 18-year-old with serious injuries.
