Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – A prisoner is said to have committed a robbery during a release. From this Wednesday (9.30 a.m.) the 51-year-old has to answer to the Frankfurt Regional Court. The man, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder in 1997, is said to have robbed a gift shop in March of this year while on leave as part of open detention and threatened the owner with a garden rake. He is said to have left the store without the money she asked for. The criminal court has initially scheduled two days of hearing for the process.
