Wettin-Löbejün/Halle (dpa/sa) – A wolf may have died in a traffic accident on the A14 early Sunday morning. According to the police in Halle, a vehicle collided between the Halle-Trotha and Löbejün junctions with an animal that suddenly wanted to cross the road. According to initial findings, it was a young animal. The investigations are ongoing and are being conducted in cooperation with the Wolf Competence Center. An employee recovered the dead animal, it said. No people were injured in the accident.
