Moosburg an der Isar (dpa/lby) – Two people suffered smoke poisoning in a fire in a metal processing plant in Upper Bavaria. The fire broke out on Sunday morning for initially unclear reasons in the company’s lounge in Moosburg an der Isar (Freising district), a police spokesman reported. A 36-year-old could not free himself and was rescued by the fire department. Another 32-year-old employee saved herself from the building. However, she was hospitalized with smoke inhalation. The seriously injured man was flown to the hospital by helicopter.
