Leipzig (dpa / sn) – Unknown persons stole high-quality jewelry and cash in the lower three-digit range from a family home in Leipzig. As the police announced on Thursday, the perpetrators forcibly entered the house in a private housing estate between the districts of Holzhausen and Baalsdorf through the patio door on Wednesday night and searched the rooms. The value of the stolen pieces is said to be in the lower six-digit range. The material damage caused is also not exactly known. Forensic scientists secured clues. The police are looking for witnesses who noticed something suspicious at the time of the crime.
