Kranichfeld (dpa/th) – A 27-year-old drove his car into a tree between the towns of Rittersdorf and Kranichfeld in the Weimar region and died. The man was on the state road when he left the road for an initially unknown reason and hit the tree, the police said on Tuesday morning. Accordingly, there were no other people in the vehicle. The 27-year-old succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
