Hagen (dpa / lnw) – Due to an accident with six injuries on the A1 near Hagen, the motorway in the direction of Bremen was completely closed for almost seven hours on Sunday. A minibus with seven occupants overturned several times at the Hagen-Nord junction and crashed into the crash barrier, a police spokesman said. One participant was thrown out of the sprinter and suffered life-threatening injuries. In addition, three people were reportedly seriously injured and two others slightly injured. The driver was not injured.

The Autobahn was completely closed on Sunday morning, among other things, due to salvage work. A police helicopter was also on site, the spokesman said. At noon, the full closure became a partial closure and one lane was passable again. According to the spokesman, everything was free again in the afternoon. According to the WDR traffic jam radar, a five-kilometer traffic jam had formed at times.
