Halver (dpa / lnw) – A man died in a motorcycle accident on the federal highway 229 west of Lüdenscheid on Sunday. According to the police, the 71-year-old from Lünen skidded near Halver at noon for no apparent reason and crashed into a crash barrier. The motorcyclist was traveling in a group. His three passengers initially did not notice the accident because they were driving in front of him. According to the police, a driver partially observed the fall in the rear-view mirror. Experts from the Dortmund police took over the investigation.
