Leipzig (dpa/sn) – The Equal Opportunities Minister Katja Meier (Greens) awarded this year’s Saxon Female Founders’ Prize. The three entrepreneurs Annette Katrin Seidel, Sara Linke and Juliette Beke were honored on Saturday at the Villa Ida media campus in Leipzig, as the Ministry of Justice announced on Sunday in Dresden. Seidel, who has been running a hotel in Pirna (Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district) since 2019, received the prize in the start-up category. Linke, a textile entrepreneur from Hohenstein-Ernstthal (Zwickau district), was honored in the growth company category. Beke, who runs the first waste and plastic-free hairdressing and cosmetics salon in Dresden, was awarded the sustainability prize.
