Plauen (dpa/sn) – A pedestrian was hit by a tram in Plauen (Vogtlandkreis) and seriously injured. The 62-year-old crossed a street on Monday morning and did not notice the tram coming from the right, the police said on Tuesday. The 34-year-old driver initiated emergency braking, but was no longer able to prevent the collision. He was treated for shock.
