Trusetal (dpa/th) – At a fair in Trusetal, a 67-year-old suddenly aimed a stun gun at firefighters who had previously helped him after a circulatory collapse. As the police announced, the man collapsed on Sunday afternoon at the festival in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district and fell. When several firefighters helped him up, he regained consciousness and pointed a gun at the helpers. A firefighter took the weapon from him, which turned out to be a blank pistol. A breath alcohol test in the 67-year-old showed 1.36 per thousand. The man was taken to hospital with a laceration to his head.
