Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – North Rhine-Westphalia’s trade has done significantly more business. Sales increased by 7.7 percent in the second quarter compared to the same period last year, the state statistics office announced on Monday. The value is nominal – inflation is not taken into account. At the same time, the number of employees remained about the same. The individual divisions increased their sales differently, with the food industry in particular getting significantly more money. The main construction trades and crafts for private use each increased by around 12 percent. The motor vehicle trade, on the other hand, was hardly able to grow (plus 0.8 percent).
