Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) – Central defender Stephan Ambrosius from the second division soccer club Karlsruher SC is about to play for the Ghana national team for the first time. The 23-year-old has been called up for the friendlies against Brazil on September 23 and Nicaragua on September 27, KSC announced on Tuesday. Ambrosius was loaned out by league rivals Hamburger SV in the summer.
