As the police announced on Monday, a 37-year-old man with a beer mug hit the head of another folk festival visitor several times. According to initial investigations, the suspect is said to have sprayed with a fire extinguisher without permission on Saturday night. When a 28-year-old confronted him about it, the conversation escalated. The 28-year-old man was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The suspect was taken to prison after being brought before an investigating judge.

On the same evening, there was another incident between two other men, in which a 48-year-old hit a 27-year-old in the face with a beer mug, according to investigations so far. Apparently, according to the police, the 27-year-old wanted to settle a dispute in which the 48-year-old was involved. The 27-year-old was taken to hospital with a laceration. The 48-year-old is now being investigated for dangerous bodily harm. According to the police, the participants in both cases were in some cases significantly under the influence of alcohol.
