Munich (dpa/lby) – It’s getting darker at Munich Airport: The large glass roof over the Airport Center is no longer illuminated, the lighting of signs that are not absolutely necessary has been switched off and the light in the parking facilities at the airport has been reduced, the airport company said on Wednesday With. “A total of 7,000 light points have already been switched off on the airport site – this corresponds to the consumption of around 850 households.” Savings are also made on the ventilation and air conditioning of the offices. The terminals are to be heated to a maximum of 19 degrees during the cold season. Other ways to save energy would be explored.
