Hanau (dpa/lhe) – Two people were injured in an unsuccessful overtaking maneuver early on Sunday morning near Hanau (Main-Kinzig district). According to the police, a 63-year-old driver on the federal highway 43a had overlooked a vehicle that was traveling at the same height next to him in the left lane when overtaking. The Hanauer’s vehicle spun to the right and landed in a green strip. The driver and his 62-year-old passenger were taken to a hospital with injuries. The other driver, from Gelnhausen (Main-Kinzig district), complained of neck pain and was treated on an outpatient basis. The accident damage was estimated at around 20,000 euros.
