In February 2022, Saqib Hussain and Hashim Ijazuddin, both 21 years old, lost their lives in a traffic accident near Leicester, England.
Two other cars were involved in the incident, which occurred on the A46 road. Ansreen Bukhari (46 years old) and her daughter Mahek (24), a well-known influencer on the Tik Tok social network, have been found guilty of manslaughter for these events, according to the BBC.
Along with them, Rekhan Karwan and Raees Jamal were charged with the same offence, but have been acquitted of those charges. However, they will be convicted of attempted murder.
The jury returned the verdict after 28 hours of deliberation. The two women, who had denied the accusations, burst into tears after hearing the result.
During the trial, it emerged that Mahek Bukhari was responsible for a fatal ambush on the aforementioned road after learning that Hussain had threatened to publish sexual content about his mother, with whom he had had a relationship.
The car, which Ijazuddin was driving, broke in half after hitting a tree and began to burn.
Rekhan Karwan and Raees Jamal were driving the car that caused the accident by chasing and harassing the deceased.
Prosecutors said Hussain had agreed to meet the mother and daughter to pay them back £3,000, which he said he had spent during the affair.
But it was a hoax that they took advantage of to harass him while he was driving to the meeting point with the mother and daughter.
