Pforzheim (dpa / lsw) – A fire broke out on the premises of a waste disposal company in Pforzheim for the second time within a month. Federal highway 294 is closed. In addition, the rail traffic near Pforzheim is at a standstill because the extinguishing water supply also runs via the nearby tracks in the south-west of the city, the police said on Tuesday evening. There is a fire inside a warehouse. Initially, neither the police nor the fire brigade were able to provide information on the extent of the fire and possible injuries.
At the end of July, a fire broke out on the site of the waste disposal company. At that time, several press machines and vehicles were destroyed – the damage was worth millions. The employees were then able to get to safety.
