Erfurt (dpa/th) – Expenditure on integration assistance for people with disabilities has increased in Thuringia. According to the State Statistical Office on Tuesday, the net expenditure for this was around 471 million euros last year, which corresponds to an increase of 10.1 percent compared to 2020. This involves, for example, expenses for integration into working life, for medical services and for assistance with housing or mobility. According to statistics, around 26,000 people in Thuringia received these social benefits last year, compared to almost 24,800 a year earlier.
