Oberwiesenthal/Chemnitz (dpa/sn) – At the end of the “Saxony Classic” vintage car rally, the convoy of around 190 historic vehicles will make their way through the Ore Mountains on Saturday. According to the organizers, the rolling museum will start in the morning (8:01 a.m.) in Oberwiesenthal and travel to Chemnitz via Jöhstadt, Drebach, Zschopau, Augustusburg, Freiberg and Frankenberg. There the three-day rally ends after a total of 582 kilometers at the town hall.

Classic car fans can once again experience vehicles from 30 different brands, such as Horch, Opel, Chevrolet, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Porsche and Jaguar, but also Wartburg and Trabant. The rally started in Zwickau on Thursday. The route had also led through the Czech Republic.
