Roßleben-Wiehe (dpa/th) – A motorcyclist fell between Lossa and Wiehe in the Kyffhäuser district and was seriously injured. The 51-year-old skidded on his motorcycle on the street on Monday evening and finally collided with the guardrail, the police said on Tuesday. It is still unclear exactly why he lost control of the motorcycle. The man was taken to the hospital in a rescue helicopter. Material damage totaling around 3,000 euros was caused to his motorcycle and the crash barrier.
