Steinbach am Wald (dpa/lby) – A drunk woman rammed a patrol car during a police check in Upper Franconia and tried to flee. Officials stopped the 58-year-old in Steinbach am Wald (Kronach district) on Monday, a police spokesman said on Tuesday. She drove backwards against the stationary police car – whether on purpose was initially unclear.
A first test revealed a breath alcohol level of more than two per mille, it was said. Because the 58-year-old suddenly started running, the officers tied her up and also cashed in her driver’s license. Nobody got hurt.
