Of course, adults can also play games of skill and benefit from them. Advanced games in particular also challenge older generations.

Do you remember those little games with the balls that have to be transported through a maze? This type of game of skill should also be known to older generations. They are as sophisticated as they are simple and a good choice if you want to keep your child busy on their own. Stacking games are popular representatives of skill games, “Jenga”, the tower that is thinned out, should be familiar to many. The situation is similar with the game “Mikado”. The system of a stacking game is simple, because things like stones, cards or other shaky things have to be stacked on top of each other. As simple as the game mechanics may sound, the more pieces are added or removed from the stack, the more skillful the players have to be. “Jenga” is a good example of a game that requires parts to be removed, while “Suspend” requires things to be added. No matter which game you choose, the longer it goes on, the harder it gets.

The classic of this game type is the Rubik’s Cube, which is sorted by color. But there is also a round version of the game. With this ball, children can train their motor skills as well as their spatial thinking. Match the colored balls to the rings of the same color. The game is compact and convenient for traveling.

Keeping balance is not easy and so it takes some practice with this type of skill game. However, those with a good sense of balance have an advantage. The process is simple: items for balancing are gradually added, which significantly increase the level of difficulty.
