The Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) have found a new person to fill the board department for human resources and social affairs. Jenny Zeller, previously Human Resources Director at the Berlin S-Bahn, is to complement the three-person board of directors of the BVG from next year, as the Senate Department for Economics announced on Thursday. Zeller takes over from Dirk Schulte, who left BVG in November.
Zeller is particularly well suited for the office thanks to her professional experience, said Economics Senator Stephan Schwarz. “With regard to the challenges of demographic change, progressive digitization and the associated transformation of the working world, Ms. Zeller is taking on an extremely important task.” Before her time at the S-Bahn, Zeller headed the management academy of Deutsche Bahn, among other things.
