Baden-Württemberg: Burglar just steals a chocolate bar

Menge (dpa/lsw) – A hungry burglar stole nothing but a chocolate bar from a residential building in the Sigmaringen district. The owner of the house in quantities caught the man in the act on Tuesday and was able to temporarily hold him while he fled, the police said. When scanning the man, only a chocolate bar came to light, which the perpetrator had stolen from the kitchen. Other valuables were apparently not stolen. The man justified his theft by wanting to satisfy his hunger. When the homeowner called the police, the perpetrator broke free and fled. The police in Bad Saulgau have taken over the investigation in the case.
