Meerbusch (dpa / lnw) – An 82-year-old driver caused a mass accident involving a total of eight vehicles in a parking lot in Meerbusch. According to the police, the elderly woman lost control of her car early Thursday evening for reasons that are still unknown and crashed into seven cars. The passenger of the 82-year-old was slightly injured in the crash, as was a woman who was standing in the parking lot between her and another car. Five of the eight vehicles were so badly damaged that they were no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away. There was a lot of damage that has not yet been quantified.
