Kassel (dpa/lhe) – High levels of sick leave and staff shortages continue to lead to failures and restrictions on the Kurhessenbahn. As a spokeswoman for the North Hessian Transport Association (NVV) reported on Wednesday, regional train 4 from Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe to Korbach and regional train 97 from Marburg to Korbach and Brilon will run every two hours from Thursday until July 17th.
The train traffic between Wabern and Bad Wildungen had been stopped since late Wednesday afternoon, it was said. Regionalbahn 39 trains only ran between Kassel Hauptbahnhof and Wabern. The line will probably only be on the road again between Kassel and Bad Wildungen on Thursday afternoon. Up to and including July 10, it must be assumed that train traffic between Wabern and Bad Wildungen can only be resumed at 12 p.m. The background is the lack of staff in the Fritzlar signal box.
