Rarely does he bring the offspring to the red carpet. But for this special occasion, the Hemsworths appear as a whole family: At the “Thor: Love and Thunder” premiere, Chris Hemsworth arrives with his entire entourage.
A few days after the premiere of “Thor: Love and Thunder” in Los Angeles, Chris Hemsworth’s new film also premiered in his home country of Australia. Hemsworth took the opportunity to turn the event into a real family reunion.
As in Los Angeles, Hemsworth brought his wife, fellow Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, to Sydney. The “Thor” actor also received support from his twin sons. Eight-year-old boys, Sasha and Tristan, posed with their parents on the red carpet.
Only daughter India Rose was missing to complete the small Hemsworth family. But Luke Hemsworth was at the start. Chris’ big brother, who is also an actor, came with his wife and their three daughters.
With Liam Hemsworth, however, number three of the acting Hemsworth brothers was missing in Sydney. That’s what my father was there for. Craig Hemsworth also attended the premiere party.
Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth solo film starring the Norse god of thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As with Part 2, Taika Waititi directed it. The New Zealander, who won the screenplay Oscar for “Jojo Rabbit,” brought his two daughters to the gala.
On the sidelines of the premiere, Hemsworth joked about a scene where his butt was exposed. “This scene took ten years to prepare – it’s kind of a dream of mine,” Hemsworth told Variety magazine. “The first time I played Thor, I took off my shirt and I was like, ‘You know what’s going to make this even cuter… in a decade everything will be stripped.’ Hemsworth first portrayed the comic book superhero in 2011’s Thor.
In Germany, “Thor: Love and Thunder” will start in cinemas on July 6, 2022.
