Marine Le Pen, a former presidential finalist, was invested by the National Rally of Pas-de-Calais in the 11th District. She received nearly 55% votes in the first round legislative elections on Sunday, June 12. Due to her excessive abstention, she was not elected in this round. Her final score would have been below 25% of registered voters.

Next Sunday, she will be facing Marine Tondelier (EELV candidate for the New People’s Ecological and Social Union Nupes), who finished second with 22.3%.

“The voters in Pas-de-Calais’ 11th constituency placed me with 55%”, said Marine Le Pen in Henin-Beaumont. She called on RN voters to confirm and amplify the vote in order “to send a very important group patriotic deputies into a new National Assembly.”
