The automotive supplier Bosch uses around 2,000 young people across Germany – 500 more than in the previous year, as a spokesman in Stuttgart reported. Some people are still looking for staff at Bosch. This is the case at the main plant in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, Blaichach, Murrhardt, Homburg and Salzgitter.
The car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz mainly employs young people in the months from May to September 2022, as a spokeswoman in Stuttgart explained. They mainly work in production. The flat fee there is around 2500 euros gross per month. She did not provide any information on the current number of temporary workers required.
The fastening specialist Würth currently has 350 holiday jobs. Around 50 places have already been taken, said a Würth spokeswoman. There is work in logistics and administration. The Europa-Park in Rust reported 100 vacancies. It is about the sale of souvenirs, the preparation or sale of food or the operation of rides, as a spokeswoman explained. “Usually, the holiday periods are also associated with peaks in visitor numbers, which means more work for the different teams.”
According to a spokesman, the auto supplier ZF Friedrichshafen will have more than 1,100 holiday jobs at its headquarters between June and September. “The situation in Friedrichshafen has gotten even worse. Customer call-offs for commercial vehicle transmissions are very high.” There are also temporary jobs in manufacturing, production, assembly or logistics at the other locations in Germany.
