Geldern (dpa / lnw) – Five people suffered serious injuries on Saturday evening when a car collided with a motorcycle near Geldern on the Lower Rhine. According to a police report, an 18-year-old recognized the motorcycle turning left too late and touched the two-wheeler with her car. After the collision, the car veered off the road, overturned and landed on its roof. The motorcyclist and the driver, the 23-year-old passenger and two 13-year-old girls were taken to hospitals. One of the girls had to be flown to a special clinic in Duisburg in a rescue helicopter.
